Agility on a Tightrope

I read a story today about how tightrope walker Nik Wallenda plans to walk 1,500 feet above the beach in Atlantic City in mid-August. Sea gulls and crosswinds aside, it got me thinking about how he can keep his footing and his balance as he traverses the high wire.

Without a net. Or safety harness.

It’s all about agility.

It’s all about agility for staffing firms as well. Cloud and mobile technologies have been and will be changing the way staffing firms operate. A recent McKinsey study found that business leaders expect technology teams to continually develop new platforms to support innovation and growth. While that’s important for all industries, it’s an imperative for staffing firms.
